Robert Henry Perkins was born July 14, 1945 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away March 10, 2025 in Florence, Kentucky at that age of 79. He was the son of the late James Henry and Lena Mae Humphrey Perkins.
Bob, as he was best known, was a retired nurse and spent his career in Atlanta. He was proud to be a veteran of the United States Army having served his country in Vietnam. After he moved back to Kentucky he enjoyed going for car rides and was a regular at Waffle House in Dry Ridge. He also loved country music, watching westerns and sugar free vanilla ice cream.
Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Perkins and Billy Ray Perkins, and his sisters, Carol Ann Whaley and Anna Mae Adams. He is survived by two nephews, Jason Whaley (Adrean) and Jeremy Whaley (Wendie), and two nieces, Paula Miller (Bryan) and Hope Neice.
A memorial committal service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 24, 2025 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown, KY. He will be laid to rest in the columbarium at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North.
