Robert Lee Plunkett

Robert Lee Plunkett, 80, of Williamstown, KY, died Friday November 4, 2022 at his residence after a lengthy illness.  Born May 5, 1942 in Mt. Zion, KY, he was the son of the late John and Virgie Beach Plunkett.

On August 24, 1981, Robert was united in marriage to the former Lillian Elaine Woolley; she survives. He retired in 1992 as a shipping clerk for International Permalite. Being a family oriented man, spending time with his family was very important, something he enjoyed doing every chance he got. He was a member of Elliston Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Elaine, include four sons: Robert Ray Plunkett of Florence, John Alan Plunkett of Florence, John Paul McGraw of Dry Ridge, Dalton Plunkett of Dry Ridge; two daughters: Lisa Lynn Plunkett of Walton, Rishia (John) Taylor Williamstown, along with 15 grandchildren: Chasity Hammond, Jessica Kendall, Jake Riley, Chevy Riley, Summer Riley, Alexandra Plunkett, Timothy Helton, Reynold Helton, Lee Helton, Amber Taylor, Dellarose Taylor, Rebekah Taylor, John Paul McGraw, Jr., Brian McGraw, Marie Leeann McGraw and nine great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son: Bart Bergman; a brother: Edmond “Ebby” Plunkett and a sister: Laverne Wainscott.

Visitation will be Saturday November 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Landon Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.
