Rodney Steven Moore

Rodney Steven Moore, 58, was born May 19, 1962 in Lexington, Kentucky and passed away Sept. 1, 2020 at his home in Owenton, Kentucky with his fiancé, Janetta New, by his side.  He was the son of the late Phillip Rodney Moore and Ethelene Cummins Moore Scott of Mt. Vernon, KY.

Rodney was a maintenance engineer for most of his life.  He was very handy and could do just about anything related to construction.  Rodney was a graduate of Greenville High School in Greenville, SC and was of the Christian Faith.  He was also an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

Rodney is survived by his long time fiancé: Janetta New of Owenton; his mother: Ethelene Scott of Mt. Vernon; a son: Isaac Steven Moore of Ohio; 2 brothers: John Moore of Winchester and Ronald Scott of Mt. Vernon; and 2 grandchildren.

Stanley Funeral Homes in Williamstown is in charge of arrangements for cremation.  A memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date.
