Rodney Anthony Valvano

Rodney Anthony Valvano was born April 23, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away April 24, 2020 in Warsaw, Kentucky at the age of 83.  He was the son of the late Tony Anthony and Mary Louise Owens Valvano.

On March 12, 1960 Rodney was united in marriage to Nancy Lee Yeary Valvano who preceded him in death in 2017.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Lee, and a sister: Shirley Patton.

Rodney was a retired Shear Operator for Bickers Metal and was a lifetime member of the Seven Hills Rod and Gun Club in Crittenden, Kentucky.  He was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing.

He is survived by his son: Mark Valvano (Darlene) of Walton; and two granddaughters: Amanda Valvano Risch (Joseph) of Verona and Christene Valvano of Walton.

Due to current government restrictions, there will be a private visitation and service for the family, with burial in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
