Roger William Ballenger

Roger William Ballenger, Jr. was born Aug. 20, 1974 in Lexington, KY and passed away Oct. 14, 2024 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 50.  He was the son of the late Roger William Ballenger, Sr. and Barbara Mae Griffin Ballenger.

Roger formerly worked for Bluegrass Paving as a dump truck driver and fleet supervisor. Roger was member of Williamstown Baptist Church.  He was an avid drag racing fan and always enjoyed going to drag races with his wife.  He also enjoyed spending time around a bonfire with his family and friends.  He will be remembered for being a "master" around the grill and cooking.  Roger dearly loved his wife, Rocklin, and would protect her at all costs and got his greatest joy from making her smile.

On July 8, 2000 Roger was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rocklin LeAnn Louden Ballenger.  In addition to his wife of 24 years, he is survived by his sister, Roxanne (John) Howe of Williamstown; a niece, Macy Howe; aunt and uncle, Lovell and Jackie Caldwell; his favorite pets, Big Moe, Gizmoe, and Ellie; and a host of faithful friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ, 3735 Cordova Rd., Williamstown, KY  41097.  Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ, 3735 Cordova Rd., Williamstown, KY  41097.
