Mr. Roland Garth McNeely passed away at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 67 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. McNeely was born on April 19, 1952 to the late William and Virginia White McNeely. He was a farmer for most of his life. He is an Army veteran, and loved to hunt, fish, read his bible and study history, politics and geneology.
He is survived by one daughter, Ramona "Mona" Barbara Richter (Thomas) of Dayton, KY, one sister, Marjorie Ryder (Menifee) of Warsaw, KY, one sister-in-law, Loraine McNeely, two granddaughters, Zoey and Arya, and several nieces and nephews. Roland was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas McNeely and two sisters, Anna Sue Ethridge and Ramona Barbara Cussins.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral Services will follow at 1pm. Bro. Don Kannady will be officiating services. Military honors will be conducted at 1:30 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Napolean Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be donated to The Barracks Project, 25 Franklin Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY
