Rondell Lee Kinmon passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana at the age of 90. He was born on November 16, 1930 to the late William and Edna Childers Kinmon.
On March 2, 1951 Ron was united in marriage with the former Roberta Sue Neal who preceded him in death on September 23, 2008. From this union four daughters were born and all survive: Debbie Vannarsdall and her husband, Daryl of Dry Ridge, Rhonda Rich and her husband, Al of Williamstown, Brenda Caldwell and her husband, Darrell of Williamstown and Christie Evans and her husband, John of Owenton. Also surviving is one sister: Sandy Kinmon of Jonesville, eight grandchildren: Tameca Switzer, Colt Vannarsdall, Corey Rich, Ali Rich, Brent Caldwell, Derek Caldwell, Camelia York and Lillie Evans and twelve great grandchildren.
Mr. Kinmon had been a dock worker in Cincinnati for the Consolidated Freightways Trucking company and remained a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church at the time of his death. A graduate of the Mason High School, he was very proud of his service in the United States Army. He loved to fish and garden, but mostly enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Friday. Burial with military honors will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
