Ronnie Lee Hicks of Crittenden, Kentucky

August 5, 1943 - March 14, 2019

Ronald “Pops” Hicks , 75, of Crittenden, KY, passed away Thursday March 14, 2019 at his residence. Born August 5, 1943, in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late John Dalton and Eunice Minnie Clark Hicks.

On September 19, 1964, he married the former Marilyn Jean Langen; she preceded him in death on September 16, 2015. After 32 years with Cincinnati Bell, where he worked as a splicer; he retired (1997). He loved fishing, hunting and gardening, when time and health allowed. He was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Walton.

Survivors include his two sons: Ronald Hicks and Jason Hicks, both of Crittenden; two brothers: Tom Hicks of Fort Wright, KY, John Hicks of Corinth, KY; one sister: Connie Webster of Dry Ridge, KY. He was preceded in death by a sister: Gail Daniels and a brother: Jay Hicks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday March 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton; Father Matt Cushing will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 10:00. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
