Roy Lee Beach, Sr.

Mr. Roy L. Beach, Sr., a Warsaw, KY resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 70.  He was the widower of the late Marilyn Julick Beach.

Roy was born on March 27, 1952 to the late Kenneth Anthony Beach and Ruth Hisel Beach.  He was a welder all his life and formerly worked for Summit Fire Apparatus.  He was a member of the Elliston Baptist Church.  In his pastime he enjoyed watching western movies, travelling to Amish areas and spending time with his grandchildren.

Roy is survived by two sons, Roy Lee Beach, Jr., Danny (Princess) Joseph, three daughters, Ann Beach, Suzanne Purnell, Crystal Beach, one daughter in law Christina Beach, two brothers, Ray (Carol) Beach, William Kendall, three sisters, Barbara Beach, Thelma Hon, Diane Kannady, nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife Marilyn, Roy was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth, Joshua and Jonathon Beach, one daughter, Jessica Beach, and one brother, Thomas Kendall.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Bro. Rex Gibson will be officiating.  Burial will follow at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Elliston Baptist Church.
