Roy Stephen Brashear

November 12, 1943 — February 4, 2021

Roy Stephen Brashear was born November 12, 1943 in Gallatin Co., Kentucky and passed away February 4, 2021 at his residence in Warsaw, Kentucky at the age of 77.  He was the son of the late Roy and Blanche Marie Morgan Brashear.

Steve was a retired maintenance worker and grave digger for Highlands Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell and he was a veteran of the United States Army.  He also enjoyed working outside on his farm.

He is survived by a step-daughter Angie Akins (Jimmy Biddle) of Warsaw; a step-son: Jeff Brashear of Glencoe; a brother: Donald Brashear of Warsaw; 2 grandchildren: Amanda Garrett and Jason Brashear; and 2 great grandchildren: Dakota Carnes and Jenna Carnes.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife: Charlotte Brashear in 2019; and 2 sisters: Joanne Peace and Dorothy Atha.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday.  Burial will follow in the Napoleon Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID19 Restrictions masks will be required while attending services and building capacities will be limited to 50% capacity.
