Ruby Kathleen Courtney

Ruby Kathleen Courtney of Crittenden, KY was born July 8, 1937 in Livingston, KY and died Friday March 19, 2021 at her residence in Crittenden, KY at the age of 83.

She was the daughter of the late Shelby and Ida Tackett, a former manufacturing employee and homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Richard Courtney, and 2 daughters, Donna Sue Jacks and Kathy Steele.

Surviving are 2 sons, Boyd Dean Courtney and Rick Courtney both of Crittenden, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Robert Tackett of Walton and Ray Tackett of Taylor Mill, and 2 sisters, Mag Overbay of Independence and Alma Beach of Carrollton.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial at the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
