Rustine Craycraft

Rustine Craycraft, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 51.

Rustine was a former factory worker for Mubea Manufacturing in Florence, KY.  Earlier in life she was a long haul truck driver.  Through this experience, she was able to fulfill her dreams of travelling the countryside.  She loved reading, gardening, vacationing near beaches, cleaning, bird watching and cooking.  Her family dearly loved her pumpkin pies and home cooked Thanksgiving dinners.  She was known for her independence and having a sweet tooth.  Her children describe Rustine as selfless, kind, compassionate, giving, forgiving, had a heart of gold and loved spending time with her children.

Rustine is survived by her mother, Bonnie Goodpaster, her longtime friend Bobby Story, children, Jordan Story, Kayla Craycraft, Brandi Story, two sisters, Melissa Mason, Jeanie Taylor and her six grandcats, Athena, Orangie, Mr. Mackey, Jasper, Lola and Jack.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date and announced here once finalized.
