Sammy Dean Lewis

Sammy Dean Lewis, 51, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 at his residence.  Born Sunday September 27, 1970 in Prestonsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Johnny and Katherine “Kitty” Marie Fraley Lewis.

On July 3, 1994, he was united in marriage to the former Deana Marie Endicott; she survives. He was a machine operator for Farucia Industries. He will be remembered for his love to color, play cards, dice with his kids, playing crossword puzzles and especially, his love for drinking black coffee.  He was a member of Family Worship Center.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Deana, include one son: Austin Tyler Lewis of Williamstown; two daughters: Samantha Lynn Lewis of Williamstown, Hannah Marie Lewis of Dry Ridge; two brothers: Jerry Alan Lewis of Dry Ridge, Johnny Raymond Lewis of South Carolina and a special nephew: James Tyson “Goobie” Mitchell, along with three grandchildren: Ameliah Marie Lewis, Emerlynn Love Mayhan and Dalyn Mayhan. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Curtis lee Lewis Paul Lewis and a sister: Patricia Lewis Billiter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
