Sharon Kay Caldwell

Sharon Kay Caldwell, 74, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away Monday September 6, 2021 at her residence.  Born October 24, 1946 in Oneida, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray and Tommie Lee Helen Dean.

On July 1, 1967, at Crittenden Baptist Church, Sharon was united in marriage to Carl Edward “Ed” Caldwell; he preceded her in death on May 28, 2020. She was a devoted homemaker and housewife.  She was a graduate of Central High School in Cincinnati and a member of Crittenden Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter: Carrie Lynn Faulkner (late Fred); six grandchildren: Houston Moore, Aaron Moore, Austin Faulkner, David Faulkner, Karlas Faulkner, Brandon Faulkner, along with nine great-grandchildren: Cason Moore, Carter Moore, Macy Moore, Novalyee Moore, Colton Moore, Caleb Moore, Aubrey Faulkner, Wyatt Faulkner and Rosie Moore.  She was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Edward Dean in 2007.

Visitation will be Thursday September 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Crittenden Baptist Church in Crittenden, KY.  Funeral services will begin at 2 pm with Rev. Allen Livingood officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

Among those serving as pallbearers are: Houston Moore, Aaron Moore, Austin Faulkner and Randy Caldwell.
