Shelda Rose Webster, 79, of Thompson's Station, TN, (formerly of Grant County) passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on Thursday July 29, 2021 at NHC Place – Cool Springs, Franklin, TN. Born Monday September 8, 1941 in Folsom, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Thomas and Daisy Alexander Jump.
On July 9, 1960, at Latonia Baptist Church, Shelda was united in marriage to Encil Floyd Webster, a beautiful relationship that lasted over 61 years. She served as the Office Manager for Vaden Sewer Treatment Equipment Company. She was a great adventurer; she loved to travel; loved sewing, which included making Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, boating and photography but her greatest enjoyment came from her family whom she loved so much. She was a member of Christ Chapel in Erlanger.
Shelda leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband, Encil Webster, one daughter: Shawnna (Keith) Simpson of Franklin, TN; one son: Todd Webster of Palm Springs, CA and one brother: Leslie Thomas (Sandy) Jump of Dry Ridge, KY. Three grandchildren also survive: Blair Morris, Tate Simpson, Mackenzie Simpson and two great-grandchildren: Beckham Morris and Kaisley Rose Simpson, all of whom lovingly called her “Momaw” along with a special niece: Sarah Batdorf of Taylor Mill, KY. She was preceded in death by a sister: Wanda Samford.
Visitation will be Sunday August 1, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location). Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Terry Crigger officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North (KVC-N). Serving as pallbearers are: Tom Jump, Keith Simpson, Tate Simpson, Jonathan Morris, Rus Harney and Ron Kinmon.
