Sherry Hudson Mcwhorter

Sherry Hudson McWhorter, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at her residence at the age of 62.  She was the widow of the late Kenneth E. McWhorter.

Sherry was born on February 25, 1962 to the late William Hudson and Bertha Riddell Hudson.  Sherry was a former packer for Singage Manufacturing.  She loved working in her flower garden, camping, outdoors, visiting the Tennessee Smoky mountains, NASCAR and baking.

Sherry is survived by her significant other of 22 years, Bradley Scott Maggard, one son Michael (Amanda) Kearns of Dry Ridge, KY, one daughter Tiffany Kearns of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Hudson, Tom Hudson and two sisters, Judy Schmidt and Becky Rice.

Visitation will be Monday, August, 26, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the family, c/o Stanley Funeral Homes, P.O.
