Shirley L. Jackson

Shirley L. Jackson of Dry Ridge, KY was born Thursday, January 31, 1946 in Atlanta, GA and died Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 74.

She was the daughter of the late James David and Nettie Louise Neal Hornsby, and was a homemaker. On July 15, 1969 she was united in marriage to her husband Denver Jackson Jr.

Surviving is her husband, Denver of Dry Ridge, 3 sons, David (Renea) Jackson, Denver (Mindy) Jackson III, and Tom (Maria) Jackson all of Dry Ridge, 1 daughter, Amy (Todd) Slatin of Lexington, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
