Sonja Stanton Popham

Sonja Ruth Stanton Popham, a  Florence, KY resident, passed away in Ft. Thomas on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 83.  She was the widow of Nelson Popham whom passed away on March 2022.

Sonja was a former IRS employee and a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Williamstown, KY.  She loved sewing, playing cards, caring for her dogs, travelling and vacationing at Disney World. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Sonya is survived by one daughter, Pam (Aaron) Smith, four grandchildren, Natasha Records, Walker Smith, Zak Smith, Parker Smith and one great granddaughter, Isabella Townsend.

A celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
