Stephen Clark Barnes

Stephen Clark Barnes of Ava Maria, Florida and formerly of Grant County, KY was born October 24, 1965 in Lexington, KY and died May 13, 2019 at the age of 53.

He was the son of the late Harold Barnes and Alma Noel Barnes of Dry Ridge, KY. He was a 1983 graduate of Grant County High School and was a self-employed independent vender in food services. On July 27, 1991 Stephen was united in marriage to his wife of 28 years, Julie Jenkins Barnes of Florida and formerly of Cynthiana, KY.

In addition to his wife Julie, he is also survived by one daughter, Emily Mae Barnes of Orlando; his mother, Alma Barnes of Dry Ridge; two brothers, Harold “ Bud” Barnes and Heath Barnes both of Dry Ridge, KY; one sister, Susan Leach of Dry Ridge, KY; In-laws, Bob and Valerie Jenkins of Bradenton, Fl and formerly of Cynthiana, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Stephen, will take place at 2:00pm Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Palma Sola Botanical Park, 9800 17 ^th Ave. NW, Bradenton, FL 34209.

A local memorial service will be 1:30-3:30pm Sunday, June 16, 2019, at the Crittenden Baptist Church, Crittenden, KY
