Steven "Beaver" Elam

Steven Elam was born February 22, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away December 18, 2020 in Walton, KY at the age of 59.  He was the son of Betty Jean Taulbee Elam of Verona and the late Dallas Elam.

Steve, known by his family and friends as "Beaver",  was owner/operator of Steve's Demolition and Excavation.   He was a member of the Walton Baptist Church, the Good Guys Club of Walton, and he was a 1979 graduate of Walton-Verona High School.  Beaver loved spending his free time working on the farm.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his Fiance, Jane "Hurricane" Myers, of Walton; 2 brothers: Doug Elam (Sharon Gillian) of Florence and Jason Elam (Shannon) of Glencoe; a sister: Kathy Havens (James) of Williamstown; a niece: Tiffany Renee Furnier of Florence; a great niece: Mackenzie Renee Furnier of Florence; Nephew: Jerry Marcum (Christina) and Great Niece: Evie Marcum, both of Union, KY, and 2 special family members: Carl Michael Huffman of Walton and Carrie Huffman of Independence.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
