Steven Michael Gillespie

Steven Michael Gillespie was born May 16, 1990 in Edgewood, Kentucky and passed away Nov. 24, 2021 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 31.  He was the son of Angelia Goodman McKinney of Falmouth and Shaun Gillispie of Florence.

Steven was a factory worker and had worked at Wolfe Steele.  He had many hobbies he enjoyed in various of life such as playing guitar, Skateboarding and karate.  He also enjoyed paranormal investigating and was an avid UK Basketball fan.  His favorite pastime was going to Red River Gorge where he enjoyed camping and hiking.  Steven will be remembered for his love of his family and always putting them first.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son: River Gaige Gillespie and a daughter on the way, Mikiyah Stevie Gillespie; Fiance':  Paige Grant; 2 brothers: David (Angie) Gillespie of Lagrange and Trey McKinney of Butler; 2 sisters: Jessica (Zach) Bingham of Crittenden and Abby McKinney of Crittenden; his maternal grandmother: Doris Freeman of Falmouth; an aunt: Paula (Henry) Dick; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by 3 grandparents: Gene Freeman, Jan Lemen and Michael Gillespie.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
