Steven Wayne Hornsby

Steven Wayne Hornsby was born Oct. 22, 1980 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky and passed away Aug. 24, 2023 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 42.  He was the son of the late Connie Rider Hornsby and Nathan Hornsby of Dry Ridge.

Steven was a warehouse worker and he volunteered his time with Campbell County Search and Rescue.  He loved music and in his younger days he enjoyed singing and writing music.  He was an avid UK and Cincinnati Bengals fan.  Steven loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and would spend time building legos with his daughter.

In addition to his dad, he is survived by his son: Cody Hornsby of Dry Ridge; his daughter: Sophia Hornsby of Dry Ridge; two brothers: Nathan Hornsby of Dry Ridge and Todd Hornsby (Tassie) of Walton; two sisters: Lynn Gilbert (Bill) of Covington and Laura Hornsby of Alexandria; his ex-wife: Nicole Hornsby of Dry Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:30 PM, Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Memorial services will be 6:30 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.  Burial will be 12:00 PM, Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Williamstown Cemetery.
