Steven Robert Schneider

Mr. Steven Robert Schneider, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the age of 73.  He was the widower of the late Monica Schneider.

Steve was born on September 11, 1951 in Ft. Thomas, KY to the late Phillip Schneider and Lois Tieman Schneider.  He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church and worked for Grant County Schools for almost ten years as a bus driver for special needs children.  He loved the outdoors, boating, water skiing, fishing, target shooting, working out in the gym and vacationing in Cancun.  In his high school years, he was an active athlete participating in cross country and track.  He loved his family dearly and rarely missed an opportunity to attend a grandchild’s sporting event.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Monica, whom was the light of his life. He is survived by two sons, Doug Schneider, Dale (Jennifer) Arnold, three brothers, Thomas (Diana) Schneider, Jimmy Schneider, Mark (Lisa) Schneider, two sisters, Lois (Stephen) Klaine, Gretchen Schneider and five grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter Montee Lee (Scott) Bates, a brother, Phillip (Bonnie) Schneider and his favorite black lab Miss Bud.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Mt. Olivet Church on Sunday, December1, 2024 at 12:30pm.
