Sue Helen Link Wood of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

July 12, 1929 - November 24, 2023

Sue Helen Link Wood, 94, of Hilton Head Island, SC, formerly of Grant County, KY, died Friday November 24, 2023 at Life Care center in Hilton Head.  Born on July 12, 1929 in Corinth, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Dezzie Green Link.

She was united in marriage to Justice Donald Wood; he preceded her in death.  Being a Registered Nurse, she spending many years at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington and was Administrator of Grant Co. Health Department. In years past, she was a member of the Grant Co. Historical Society and Williamstown Homemakers. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgetown College and a member of Williamstown Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Donna Hoff Liepman of Hilton Head Island, S.C. and two grandchildren: Lauren Hoff and Morgan Wood.  She was preceded in death by a son: Greg Wood.

Private Graveside services will be at Williamstown Cemetery.
