Susan Michelle Brooks

Susan Michelle Brooks was born January 24, 1978 in Bethesda, Maryland and passed away October 3, 2022 in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 44.  She was the daughter of Sylvester Eugene and Nancy Gale Alsup Campbell of London, Kentucky.

Susan was a Logistician for the Dyncorp International.  She enjoyed spending time fishing and crabbing as well as antiquing and going to yard sales.  One of her favorite pastimes was traveling and exploring new places she had never been to before.  She especially loved getting away to the mountains and the beach.

On Sept. 9, 2012 Susan was united in marriage to Dale Raymond Brooks, III.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by 1 son: Dylan Campbell of Jeffersonville, KY, 3 stepsons; Brett (Samantha) Brooks of Virginia Beach, Bailey Brooks of Akron, OH and Ethan Brooks of Akron, OH; a sister; Rebecca Wood of Falmouth, VA; a step grandchild: Adrian Brooks of Virginia Beach and a niece Morgan Wood of Falmouth, VA.

Graveside services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY  41097.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the ASPCA, 218 S. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
