Susie Marie Reed Stough

Susie Marie Reed Stough , 64, of Walton, KY, died Wednesday September 25, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Edgewood. Born Wednesday August 10, 1955 in Covington, KY she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Agnes Marie Fawns Reed.

On July 30, 1994, Susie was united in marriage to Roger Stough at New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona; he preceded her in death on December 27, 2006. For over 20 years she worked as a U-Scan Cashier for the Union Kroger’s. She was a proud and devoted member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She had a genuine love for studying genealogy and enjoyed selling and collecting Longaberger Baskets.

She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters: Marjorie Ann Reed Stewart of Walton, KY and Rosie Lee Reed (Jerry) Allender of Foster, KY, brother-inlaw, Michael Stough of Cincinnati, OH, sister-inlaw, Ann (Bob) Van Schuyver of Walton, KY, step daughter, Christina (Adel) Kacem of Independence, two step grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chad Brannan officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m..
