Sylvia Kyle Conrad

Mrs. Sylvia Kyle Conrad of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Friday, September 28 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 92. Mrs. Conrad was born April 28, 1926 to the late Alton B. Cammack and Edna Noel Cammack. Mrs. Conrad was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday school class. Mrs. Conrad worked for many years at the Dry Ridge General Store as a cashier. Mrs. Conrad enjoyed tending to her yard and her flowers. She loved her two cats, Jack and Jill but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Mrs. Conrad took her first ride on a motorcycle at the age of 65 and her last ride was at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conrad was preceded in death by her first husband, Reville "Buddy" Kyle in 1988 and her second husband, Louis C. "Bud" Conrad in 2012.

Mrs. Conrad is survived by a daughter: Mona Ammerman and her husband Doug of Dry Ridge, KY. and a son: Mark Kyle and his wife Lisa of Carrollton, KY. She has 5 grandchildren: Chris Ammerman, Wendy Kyle Whitworth, Ashlee Caldwell, Melissa Kyle Burger and John Kyle. She also has 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Kyle Conrad will be conducted 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 2 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Gene Hill officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, October 2 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.

Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the Dry Ridge Baptist Church, The Gideons or to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
