Sylvia Louise Freeman Tuttle Stephenson

Sylvia Louise Freeman Tuttle Stephenson of Crittenden, KY was born May 23, 1949 in Ohio, and died Sunday February 25, 2024 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 74 years.

She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nannie M. Freeman, and her Biological Mom Rose E. Hudson and Step-Dad Corbon M. Hudson. She was a homemaker, former employee of Grant Co. IGA and Grant Co. Schools, and member of Crittenden Baptist Church. On July 21, 1966 she was united in marriage to her husband, T. B. Tuttle who preceded her in death in 1994. On February 24, 1996 she was united in marriage to her 2nd husband, Charles (Chuck) E. Stephenson who preceded her in death in 2004. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Debbie Tuttle Miller, in 2009, and 1 brother, Charles William (Billy) Marcum in 1991.

Surviving is a daughter, Tonya (Mike) Young of Crittenden; daughter Tammy Hornsby of Crittenden; son & family of Chuck (Jamie) Stephenson of Williamstown; 1 brother, Emery Frank Marcum; 7 grand-children, Shania Young, Mariah Miller, Emily Adams, Christopher Sanford, Natasha Hornsby, Joel Hornsby, and Brendon Hornsby; close friend, Cleveland (C.W.) Richey along with a host of extended family and friends that knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Wed. Feb. 28, 2024 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home Crittenden, with visitation 4:00-7:00pm Wed. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Rose Freeman Cemetery in Irvine, KY
