Terry Ray Sexton

Mr. Terry R. Sexton, a Corinth resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the age of 65.  He was the husband of Patsy Scaggs Sexton.

Terry was born on July 23, 1956 to the late Vernon Sexton and Mary Tomlin.  He was united in marriage on November 19, 1977 to Patsy Scaggs.  Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and former owner/operator of Terry's Heating and Air.  He was a former police officer for the city of Butler and Falmouth.  Terry retired as a journeyman from Duke Energy after 35 years of service.

In addition to his wife Patsy, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer R. Spoonemore and Kimberly Sexton, both of Corinth, KY, one sister, Sandra Lewis of Dry Ridge, KY, and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Donald Sexton, and one sister, Mary Lewis.

Terry had a passion for hunting, fishing, riding horses and watching western movies.  In his younger years he helped local farmers with raising tobacco.  His greatest pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Bro. Terry Parnell will be officiating services.
