Terry Lee Stephenson

Terry Lee Stephenson , 59, of Crittenden, died Monday June 22, 2020 at Encompass Health Rehab Center in Edgewood. Born July 21, 1960 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Ernest Lee “Ponnie” and Donna Jo Jump Stephenson.

On December 17, 1988 in Dry Ridge, KY, Terry was united in marriage to the former Cathy Jo Justice; she survives. He was self-employed as a car salesman, having worked in auto sales all his life. Growing up in the auto industry, he had a deep love for working on and selling automobiles. He had an outgoing personality, always making sure the needs of his family and friends were taken care of. He had many friends, whom he loved being around; he will long be remembered for never meeting a stranger. However, his greatest loved was spending time with his family. He was a member of Dry Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to Cathy, his wife of almost 32 years, include one son: Brandon Matthew Hayes of Crittenden; one daughter: Jamie Lee (Matt) Stephenson Shank of Verona; two brothers: Greg (Tammy) Stephenson of Dry Ridge, Kelly Stephenson of Williamstown and one sister: Christy (Stephan) Stephenson of Dry Ridge. Two grandchildren also survive: Aidan Shank and Ciara Shank, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday June 25, 2020 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location). Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 26 ^th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Willie Ailstock officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
