Tipton Crouch, 84, of Glencoe, KY, passed away Thursday April 29, 2021 at Gallatin Health Care in Warsaw. Born Friday March 19, 1937 in Sparta, KY, he was the son of the late Crate and May Crouch.
Tipton was united in marriage on March 23, 1977 to the former Norma Lee Glahn; she survives. He retired from Eaton Asphalt. After retirement he enjoyed going to McDonald’s or the local truck stop for coffee, particularly, with his best friend, Hondo. He was also an avid fisherman. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Norma; two daughters: Lisa Chaney of Gulf Breeze, FL, Jane Gear of Glencoe, along with six grandchildren: Millicent McKelvey, Matthew Chaney, Damian Kindle, Ethan Gear, John Gear, James Gear and seven great-grandchildren: Aspen Chaney, Jenzen McKelvey, Dawson Kindle, Alivia Kindle, Addylyn Kindle, Jacob Gear and Elizah Gear. Last but not least, he will long be remembered and loved by his neighbors who were so good to him and his wife.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 at their home in Glencoe at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tipton’s memory to:
