Mr. Tommy Perkins of Burlington, KY. passed away in Cincinnati, OH. Friday, January 24 at the age of 74. Mr. Perkins was born February 19, 1945 in Lexington, KY. to the late James and Ida Sneed Perkins. Mr. Perkins was a retired truck driver having worked for Green Trucking as well as Grant County Foods and he had proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. In his spare time Mr. Perkins enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
In addition to his parents Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by sisters: Mildred Bustle, Alverta Ingram, Shirley Clemens, Hazel Cooper, Jeanette Hicks and preceded by brothers: Robert Perkins, James Perkins and Frank Perkins.
Mr. Perkins is survived by 2 daughters: Darlene Hembree and her husband Roy of Georgetown, KY., Mary Ann Stevens and her husband Mark of Burlington, KY., a sister: Jane Crider of Dry Ridge, KY., a brother: Jimmy Perkins of Corinth, KY., 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
There will be graveside committal services with military honors on Friday, January 31 at 1:00 pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY. 41097.
