Toni Wood

Toni Kay Wood, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away Monday, September 12th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She died at the Hospice Care Center of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 51. Toni is preceded in death by her son Daniel Jacob Wood, as well as her four grandparents: Levi and Leitha Eversole, and Philip Wayne Gilliland and Edna Shuler.

Toni was born on Friday, March 12th, 1971 at St. Elizabeth Hospital- Covington. She is survived by her endlessly caring parents, Kathy and Philip Gilliland of Dry Ridge, KY, as well as several Aunts and Uncles: Vicki Lee Dalton, Phyllis Bush, Barbara McQueen, Jerry Eversole, Randy Eversole, Rodney Eversole, and Levi Eversole Jr. She leaves a lasting legacy of her two children, Travis David Wood (Alexis) of Independence, KY, and Jordan Elizabeth Wood of Dry Ridge, KY; as well as her precious grandson Parker Jacob Wood.

A graduate of Gallatin County High School, Toni enjoyed capturing the beauty of our world through the eyes of a camera lens. She shared her love of photography as a hobby, but also as a career, working as a photographer at Sears Portrait Studio. She was also a former member of the First Love Community Church in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.

Services for Ms. Wood will be held at the convenience of the family.
