It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tonya Roselynn Forbis Sweigart, who departed this life on December 26, 2024, at her residence in Williamstown, Kentucky. Born on April 30, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tonya was a cherished daughter of Brenda Sue Clark (Eric) Armstrong of Butler, KY and James Thomas Forbis of Mt Orab, OH.
Tonya is survived by her devoted husband, Tyrone Franklin Sweigart of Williamstown, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since November 15, 2012. She is also survived by her two sons, Adam Langley of Cookville, TN, and Dylan Sweigart of Union, KY; her daughter, Meghan (Chris) Johnson of Burlington, KY; her brothers, James Forbis, James Arthur Forbis, and Michael Forbis; her sisters, Bonnie Edwards and Bessie Forbis; and her precious grandchildren, Aubrey Johnson, Landon Johnson, Braxton Johnson, and Maizlynn Johnson.
Tonya was a dedicated member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. Her compassionate heart led her to found the Hope Warriors Cancer Support Group in Pendleton County, KY, where she provided unwavering support to those battling cancer. She was a pillar of strength, known for her unfailing faith in God, her forgiving nature, and her generosity. Tonya's greatest joy was her family, and she especially loved being a grandmother. Her genuine smile and kind spirit brought light to everyone she encountered, and she had a special love for coloring.
Tonya's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends.
