Travis Eugene Hamilton

Travis Eugene Hamilton of Dry Ridge, KY was born November 13, 1930 in Casey County, KY and died Sunday, August 8, 2021 in Ft. Thomas, KY at the age of 90.

He was the son of the late Ambrose and Alice Lee Emerson Hamilton, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Chemical Operator for Sterling Drugs/Hilton Davis Co., and a member of the Wesleyan Church. On September 15, 1952 He was united in marriage to his wife Elizabeth Frances McCammon Hamilton who preceded him in death on Nov. 2, 2017. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his 5 brothers: Lawrence “Buster”, Lewis, Earl, Edward “Shorty”, and Harold Hamilton, and 3 sisters: Loanna Denny, Evelyn Hill and Lucille Wilson.

Survivors are; 1 son, Donald Eugene Hamilton, Sr of Union, 3 grandchildren; Dawn J. (Darrin) Leigh of Dry Ridge, Billie J. (Doug) Sharrock of Dry Ridge and Donald E. Hamilton, Jr. of Sugarland TX, 7 great-grandchildren; Gary Hamilton, Scott (Chrissy) Sharrock, Sean Sharrock, Susan Sharrock, Dylan Hamilton, Austin Leigh and Kyle Leigh, 2 great great-grandchildren; Saige and Grayson Sharrock, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Visitation will also be Friday, 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at the Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford, KY.
