Trula Jo East

Trula Jo "Truly" East was born Oct. 7, 1944 in Houston, TX and passed away Sept. 10, 2021 in Florence, KY at the age of 76.  She was the daughter of the late John William and Opal Leon Farris Henry.

On December 25, 1963 Truly was united in marriage to Ralph Henry East, Sr.  In addition to her husband of more than 57 years she is survived by 2 daughters: Regenia (David) East-Whiteker of Walton and Aliesha East of Tyler, TX; a son: Ralph Henry East, Jr. of Crittenden; 12 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Truly was a retired LPN who loved helping people.  She graduated with an associates degree in nursing from Baylor University in Texas.  In her free time she enjoyed arts and crafts and especially crocheting.  She also enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows to get inspiration.

A memorial service will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 at Knoxville Baptist Church.  Visitation will be 4:30 - 7:00 PM Thursday at the church.
