Tsgt. Andrew Thomas Hemsath

Technical Sergeant Andrew Thomas Hemsath of North Pole, AK, formerly Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 33 years. Andrew was born in Edgewood, Kentucky on November 21, 1990. Andrew graduated from Grant County High School in 2009 before enlisting in the United States Air Force in May of 2010. His previous assignments include Eglin AFB FL, Osan AB Rok, twice, Holloman AFB NM, and Hill AFB UT. Andrew was assigned to the 355th Fighter Generation Squadron Production Section at Eielson Air Force Base. His achievements include two Air Force Commendation Medals. Andrew married SSgt Ashely Brumley Hemsath, formerly of Crittenden, KY on February 22, 2012, she survives. He is also survived by his parents Katie and Eric Wilson of Dry Ridge, KY; his father Brian Oller of Florida; his brother SrA Jacob Wilson; sister Kaitlyn Wilson; Grandparents Tom and Patti Hemsath of Crestview Hills, KY and Step Grandparents Rose and Gary Wilson of Alexandria, KY. Also leaving behind their dogs – Midnight and Nala and cat AJ. Andrew was a huge UK Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He enjoyed many hobbies – motorcycles, cars and his favorite being hunting and fishing. Services were held on July 22, 2024 at Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY and burial followed at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery, North in Williamstown, KY.
