Utha Rene Grubb

Utha Rene Grubb, 72, of Batavia, OH, passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022 at Mercy Anderson Hospital -  Emergency Room in Cincinnati, OH.  Born March 7, 1949 in the Stewartsville Community of Grant County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thurman “Tuck” and Irene C. Workman Roland.

Utha worked for Sac’s Automotive in Florence; she also worked for Kahn’s Meat Processing & Distribution in Cincinnati. She loved reading, Facebook and Word Search, but her greatest fulfillment in life came from her family, with whom she loved spending quality time.  She will forever be remembered as “The Best Mom Ever”!!!

She leaves to carry on her legacy of love, four sons: Greg (Kelly) Roland of Batavia, OH, Russell Richardson, Jr. of Independence, KY, Daniel Grubb of Crittenden, KY, Shannon Richardson of Pendleton County, KY; the father of her children: Russell Richardson, Sr. of Demossville, KY;  and four brothers: Gayle (Debbie) Roland of Union, KY, Rick (Debbie) Roland of Gallatin County, KY, Nick Roland of Demossville, KY and Mike (Elizabeth) Roland of Ross, OH.  Nine grandchildren also survive: Sarah Danielle Grubb, Kelsey Powers, Laura Richardson, Derek Richardson, Ashley Roland, Hunter Roland, Clayton Richardson, Steven Ballis and Emily Richardson, along with three great-grandchildren: James Perry, Breille Jones and Zoey Ann Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Rose Orchid; three brothers: Thurman “Beb” Roland, Ronnie J. Roland, Billy Clifford and a granddaughter: Britney Richardson.

Visitation will be Saturday January 15, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Crittenden location. Funeral services will begin at 1:00.
