Vanessa Carol Smith

Vanessa Carol Brewer Smith was born April 7, 1955 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away June 1, 2021 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky at the age of 66.  She was the daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Johnnie Belle Thacker Brewer.

On May 4, 1974 Vanessa was united in marriage to Michael Oscar Smith.  In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by a son: Chris (Michelle) Smith of Dry Ridge; a daughter: Carolyn Girdler of Covington; a sister: Annette (Marvin) Ridenour of Nicholasville; 4 grandchildren: Kylea Cooper, Michaela Smith, Kaitlyn Girdler and Emmalee Girdler; and 3 great grandchildren: Bella Cooper, Tylor Cooper and Aiden Cooper.

Vanessa was graduate of Northern Kentucky University and she was a homemaker.  She loved cruises and always enjoyed quilting and crafting.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  The burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
