Virginia Marie Wagers Aldridge

Virginia Marie Wagers Aldridge , 72, of Corinth, KY, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  Born on October 2, 1952 in Girdler, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Birdie Johnson Wagers.

On August 15, 1986 she met a gentleman by the name of Lloyd Edmond Aldridge; he who would eventually become her husband; a beautiful relationship of 34 years. She worked with Toyota Manufacturing as a security guard.  Working in her flower garden and enjoying nature and all the outdoors brought her much peace and contentment; along with finding lots of treasures among her many antique shopping excursions. She was of the Holiness Pentecostal faith.

She leaves to mourn her loss, in addition to her loving husband, Lloyd  Aldridge Junior, who affectionately called her “Ginny”; two daughters: Heather Dickey (Sam) Brewer of Georgetown, KY, Angela Gail Aldridge of Corinth, KY; two sons: Shaun Dickey of Georgetown, KY, Clay (Marissa) Aldridge of Carrollton, KY; two brothers: Ernest Wagers of Owenton, KY, Eddie Wagers of Sadieville, KY and one sister: Linda Sue Wagers Ragsdale of Elkhart, IN, along with nine grandchildren: Kelsea Barber, Tristan Aldridge, Alyssa Dickey, Ethan Dickey, Aiden Aldridge, Bryce Dickey, Tyler Dickey, Orion Dickey, Lily Aldridge and Jase Conley and one great-granddaughter: Millie Grace Dickey.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by McDaniel Funeral Homes, Corinth, KY.
