Walter F. Mcmahan

Walter F. McMahan of Glencoe, KY was born May 26, 1957 in Covington, KY and died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his residence at the age of 65.

He was the son of the late Dan and Cora Ann Jump McMahan. He was a former tow truck driver, a former member of the Walton Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Good Guys Club, the KBA Chapter 11 Motorcycle Club, and a member of the New Life Church of Christ. Walter loved fishing, hanging with his friends, and most of all was proud and enjoyed his time with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Walter was also preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Nehmens McMahan and a sister, Dorothy May McMahan.

Surviving are 2 daughters Bethany (Melvin) McMahan of Crittenden and Jerri (Randy) Nehmens of Erlanger; 2 sons, Walter Daniel McMahan of Glencoe and John (Christie) McMahan of Dry Ridge; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 3 sisters Betty (Doug) Petry, Carol (Kieth) West, and Martha Elmore; 3 brothers, Danny (Dollie) McMahan, Bobby (Betty) McMahan, Freddie “Frog” McMahan; brother-in-law, Donnie Faulkner; and special friends, Alan and Tammy Hodge, John and Jill Brody, Judy Thorton, and Tony “Trucker” Brewer.

Funeral services will be 12:30 Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by burial in the Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday 9:00am-12:30pm at the funeral home.
