Wilford Earl Garnett

Wilford Earl Garnett of Corinth, KY was born August 12, 1934 in Boone County, KY and died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence at the age of 86.

He was the son of the late Leslie Thomas and Mary Magdalene Shears Garnett, and was a retired self-employed carpenter. On April 15, 1989 he was united in marriage to his wife, Margaret Workman Garnett, who preceded him in death on March 8, 2007.

Surviving is 2 sons, Kerry Lane Garnett of Williamstown and Kevin Glenn Garnett of Florence; 2 step-sons, Lonnie Cain of Mt Olivet, Roy Cain II of Cynthiana, and Perry Cain of Corinth; 2 step-daughters, Mary Caldwell of Butler and Sue Dillon of Statham, GA; 1 brother, Robert E. Garnett of Florence; 1 sister, Norma Lee McIntosh of Williamstown; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; and numerous step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will also be Saturday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society.
