Willard Ingram was born February 6, 1936 in Irvine, Kentucky and passed away August 3, 2020 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Andy, Sr. and Dorothy Richardson Ingram.
On July 24, 1959 Willard was united in marriage to Connie Ingram who preceded him in death on March 2, 2019. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Elmer and Andy, Jr; and 2 sisters: Margaret and Beulah.
Willard was retired from General Motors in Norwood after 30 years of service and then worked 20 years with Grant County Drugs. He was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son: Buddy Ingram (Alice) of Dry Ridge; 3 daughters: Katrina Prather (Tony) of Dry Ridge, Kelly Kinster (Tony) of Sandy Hook and Kim Huesman of Dry Ridge; one brother: Ralph "Shorty" Ingram of Alabama; one sister: Frances Marksberry of Williamstown; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Willard enjoyed playing fastpitch softball and farming. He will be remembered for loving his family, especially his grandchildren, dearly.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Funeral services will be 11:00 Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will be 10:00 AM, Monday, Aug. 10, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
