William "Bill" Hogue

William Vaughn Hogue was born January 18, 1949 in Lexington, Kentucky and passed away July 13, 2022 at his residence in Walton, Kentucky at the age of 73.  He was the son of the late William Frederick and Virginia Landrum Hogue.

Bill is united in marriage to Asha S Hogue on June 6, 2007.  In addition to his wife of 15 years, he is survived by sons Sunil Selvanayagam, Sujindran Selvanayagam, James William Hogue; 4 daughters, Vasenta Selvanayagam, Jennifer Pruitt, Janet Elizabeth Prosser and Julie Miranda Houlim; spouses to children and several grandchildren.

Bill was a lifelong learner and held a PHD in Theology as well as two masters degrees.  He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as a Russian Linguist for several years.  He then transferred to the United States Navy where he continued serving his country until his retirement.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2022 at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton.  A visitation will be from 11:00 – 11:45 AM at All Saints Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
