William Stuart Kenner

William S. Kenner of Independence, KY was born September 24, 1927 in Covington, KY and passed away Tuesday July 26, 2022 in Richmond, KY at the age of 94.

He was the son of the late William Russell and Verdella Caldwell Kenner. He was a US Army Veteran, a retired Accountant for Peyer-Kenner associates in Florence, KY, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Gideons International. William has been a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Covington since 1955, where he served 60+ years as a Sunday School Teacher, was a former deacon and treasurer, and had served on many committees. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Donald C. Kenner.

Surviving are his children; Mark S. (Nancy) Kenner of Richmond, Laura (Lee) Thompson of Lexington and Tara (Billy) Dunn of Leesburg, Fl; four grandchildren; Lindsey (Troy) Woodyard, Mallory ( Jason) Topolski, Taylor (Kyle) Baldasso and Mitchell Curtis; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday August 1, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
