Boyd Douglas Kiser

May 24, 1928 - June 26, 2015

Mr. Boyd Douglas Kiser, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Friday, June 26 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice at the age of 87. Mr. Kiser was born May 24, 1928 in Carter County, KY. to the late Alan Boyd and Jessie Cartee Kiser. Mr. Kiser was a retired Kentucky State Police Trooper having served the Commonwealth of Kentucky for many years earning the rank of Sergeant and becoming a shift supervisor. After his retirement from the State Police, he worked for and later retired from the Kentucky Racing Commission and he and his late wife, Juanita, operated the Jonesville Nursing Home. Mr. Kiser was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church and he served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kiser was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Kiser on October 1, 1990. Mr. Kiser leaves to mourn his passing a son: Doug Kiser and his wife Jill of Schererville, Indiana, 1 grandson: Joshua Kiser of Gillette, Wyoming and 1 great granddaughter: Aliyah Kiser of Grenada, California. Funeral services for Mr. Boyd Douglas Kiser will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 1 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be there on Tuesday, June 30 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
