Donnie Clay Abney

Mr. Donnie Clay Abney, of Corinth, KY. passed away on Wednesday, April 25 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY at the age of 73. Mr. Abney was born July 16, 1938 in Climax, KY, to the late Claude Abney and Georgia Jones Abney. Mr. Abney was a retired adjuster for Equitable/Duro Bag Mfg. Co. in Florence, KY. In addition to his parents, Mr. Abney was preceded in death by 2 sons: Ricky and David Abney. Mr. Abney leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Pam Faulkner Abney of Corinth, KY., 3 daughters: Kathy Race of Erlanger, KY, Sandy Lyons of Florence, KY and Angie Abney of CA. He is also survived by 11 brothers and sisters and 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Abney will be conducted at 4:00 pm Saturday, April 28 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Scott and Karen Bruce officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
