Harvey Daniel VanHorne, Jr., 58, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away on Thursday, December 24 at his residence. He was born March 5, 1951 in Columbus, OH. to the late Harvey Daniel VanHorne, Sr. and Joan Kruczek VanHorne. He was a custodian for Owens-Minor Distribution in Erlanger, KY. and a member of the North American Hunting Club as well as the National Wildlife Federation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Donna Self and by a brother: Kurt VanHorne. He is survived by a daughter: Danielle VanHorne of Hilliard, OH. and by a son: Michael VanHorne of Galloway, OH. He has 2 sisters: Linda Wise of Monroe, NC and Pam Dematteo of Delaware, OH. and 1 brother: Brian VanHorne of Dry Ridge, KY. He also has a half-sister: Dawn Duff of South Dakota and he is survived by 3 grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 4-6 pm in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Cremation has taken place at the Greater Cincinnati Crematory, Cincinnati, OH.
