Ann Marie Ebner of Dry Ridge, KY passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness on June 22. Born in Cincinnati, OH to Richard and Carolyn Ebner, she graduated from Anderson High School and later moved with her parents to the family home on Williamstown Lake.
Those who met Ann know that she was very kind, loved life, her family, her dog Rosie, listening and playing music, sitting on her swing watching the boats go by, swimming, word search puzzles and dessert. One of her signature stories to tell was about her “musical career” playing her guitar in a rock and roll band during the Chili Parties. Ann had a gift of always remembering everyone she met, when they met and what they had last talked about. She loved when family and company came to visit and always ended by asking when you would be coming to visit again, followed by “well, see you whenever”. She sweetly ended every letter, email, social media post with “Love, Ann Ebner”.
Ann is preceded in death by her father (Richard Ebner, Sr.) mother (Carolyn Hecker Ebner) and brother (William Ebner).
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Richard M. Ebner, Jr. (Jean Ann) of Dry Ridge, KY; Patricia Wood (Brian) of West Chester, OH; Joseph Ebner of Sarasota, FL; Michael Ebner (Sherrie Kinderdine) of Fairfield, OH; Mary Thatcher (Mike) of Independence, KY; and Susan Webster (Jeff) of Hebron, KY.
She was a wonderful Aunt to: Stephen Ebner of Hebron, KY; Kati Ebner of Dry Ridge, KY; Ellie Zwick (Robert) of Walton, KY; Morgan Howard (Doug) of Hebron, KY; Sara Torbeck (William) of Florence, KY; Abbigale Thatcher of Independence, KY; Jacob Webster of Hebron, KY; Benjamin Webster of Hebron, KY; and Mallory Kalb (Andy) of Loveland, OH.
And she was also, a Great Aunt to: Kallie Jean Ebner of Dry Ridge, KY; Dominic Howard of Hebron, KY; Savannah Howard of Hebron, KY; and Macy Kalb of Loveland, OH.
