Bruce Allen Heller

Bruce Allen Heller was born June 27, 1940 in Akron, Ohio and passed away February 20, 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 81.  He was the son of the late Russell Wayne and Mae Jean Brandon Heller.

On June, 15, 1963 Bruce was united in marriage to the love of his life, Dorothy Mae Epperson.  In addition to his wife of almost 60 years, he is survived by a daughter: Rebecca (Todd) Heller Layne of Nicholasville; 2 sons: Phil (Christie) Heller of Newburg, IN and Seth (Carmen) Heller of North Canton, OH, his son: Mark Heller preceded him in death in 2015; a daughter-in-law: Karen Heller of Maysville; 2 brothers: Ron (Jeanetta) Heller of White Mills, KY and Don Heller of Rushville, IN; 14 Grandchildren: Mackenzie Blankenship, Devyn Allen, Savannah Layne, Jacob Heller, Lauren Heller, Elizabeth Heller, Carter Heller, Jenna Heller, Cade Heller, Kendyll Heller, Ava Heller, Asher Heller, Zoe Heller and Sophie Heller; 3 great grandchildren: Marley Blankenship, Laney Blankenship and Henry Heller; and there are 3 more great grandchildren on the way.

Bruce was preceded in death by a sister: Marlene Baughman.

Bruce earned a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Bible Seminary and a Masters Degree in Ministry from Kentucky Christian University.  Bro. Heller was a Christian Minister who retired in April 2021 after 60 years of serving many communities throughout Kentucky.  He had a heart for ministry and his congregations.  He began his ministry at Fairview Christian Church in Williamstown.  He also served at Grassy Creek Christian Church, Demossville, Milford Christian Church, Milford, KY, Cedar Hill Christian Church, Louisville, Highland Christian Church, Maysville, Jessamine Christian Church, Nicholasville, East Fork Christian Church, Lewis Co., and Augusta Christian Church.

Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at New Hope Christian Church in Maysville.  There will also be a visitation 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at Fairview Christian Church in Williamstown.  Funeral services will also be Thursday at 2:00 PM at Fairview Christian Church.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Christian Church Cemetery in Williamstown.
